ABOUT IEEE ICCC 2012

The first IEEE International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC2012) will be held in Beijing, China, from 15-18 August, 2012, under the theme “Communications for a Sustainable Future”.

This is a newly incubated international conference by IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) aiming at realistic globalization by extending ComSoc’s reach to the fastest growing region. By collaborating with local sister societies and leading regional research institutes, the conference will be held every year in greater China region (mainland, HongKong, Macau, and Taiwan) and feature major Technical Symposia, Industry Forums, Invited Tracks, Tutorials, Panels, and Workshops.

CONFERENCE INFORMATION

BADGES and TICKETS
IEEE ICCC Badges must be worn at all times and are necessary for admittance to all IEEE ICCC Sessions and Meal functions. (Tickets and Badges are needed for entry to the Workshops, Tutorials, Banquet and Workshop Lunches)

REGISTRITION DESK
Registration desk will be located on the right side of Lobby of the Lakeview Hotel. Just turn right when you enter into the front door.

REGISTRATION HOURS
Tues      14 August          18:00 – 20:00
Wed      15 August  7:30 – 18:30 
Thu       16 August  7:30 – 16:00
Fri         17 August  8:00 – 12:00

LUNCHEON
Lunch will be served on 15 August for Full day Workshop Participants Only.  On 16 and 17 August Luncheon will be served for all Conference Attendees.

WELCOME RECEPTION
Wednesday 15 August 18:00– 21: 30 in Conference Room 4

CONFERENCE BANQUET
Friday 17 August at 18:00 in the Ballroom.

COFFEE BREAKS 
Coffee breaks will be provided in the meeting room area
Hours of Coffee Breaks: 10:00am-10:30am; 3:30pm -4:00pm

POSTERS & EXHIBITIONS
Posters and exhibitions will be set up on the exhibition area, near the Ballroom. See Map of Meeting Area.

HOW TO GET TO THE LAKEVIEW HOTEL
See Map of the Lakeview hotel.  It is 35 kilometers from Beijing capital international airport to the hotel, about 45mins by taxi  and cost US$20. If you don’t want to take the taxi, you can take the subway as well. The Beijing subway line4 is 700miters away from the hotel. When you leave out the hotel, you will keep walking towards to the south, it is around 10mins on the north street of zhongguan village. That you can directly reach to the sub-station of East Gate of Peking University
